Vision and Values

Jesus made hospitality a central part of his life and ministry. At times he welcomed others, and at other times he allowed himself to be welcomed into their homes, lives and communities.

As a church family, we want to be people who welcome others with generosity, openness and love. This means paying particular attention to those who are new or on the outside, seeking to listen, care and make space for them. True hospitality is generous: it gives freely for the good of others and is willing to be changed by the people we welcome.

But hospitality also means being willing to receive the welcome of others. We want to step beyond the walls of the church, entering the places and communities around us with humility, open hands and open hearts, ready to listen, learn and build genuine relationships.. 

Jesus invited everyone to follow him and to play their part.

As a church family, we believe everyone matters and everyone has something to bring. We are richer when each person is present, valued and involved — whether through serving, worshipping, sharing their gifts, or simply being part of the family.

We want to equip and encourage everyone to live out their faith wherever God has placed them, seeking to see his Kingdom come in our church, our community and our everyday lives.

Jesus cared for the whole person, bringing healing, hope and restoration to every area of life.

As a church family, we believe God’s Spirit is at work in every part of our lives, bringing transformation, wholeness and peace. Jesus came that we might have life in all its fullness, and we believe no part of who we are is beyond the reach of his love and renewing presence.
